Marisa and Rob’s Provincetown Wedding

Marisa and Rob were married this May in a beautiful Provincetown ceremony, followed by dinner and dancing at The Sea View in Dennisport. These two made for just the sweetest day, surrounded by a wonderful family that traveled far and wide to celebrate with them.

For me, this kicked off the 2011 wedding season! I may have had a few extra butterflies, but I was also probably more prepared than ever – batteries charged days in advance, for instance. What an excellent start to share in this perfect day!undefined

Meeting at Marisa’s family home in the morning, the ambiance was filled with comfort and laughter. She had known each of her girlfriends since high school, which is rare in the world but a blessing for many of us who grew up on Cape Cod. Her Portuguese heritage meant that a massive buffet of scrumptious food quickly covered the entire dining room table for all to enjoy!

An absolutely stunning bride!

The ceremony took place at Marisa’s childhood church, St. Peter the Apostle in downtown Provincetown. The ocean waves in the stained glass could not have been more perfect.

We drove out to Herring Cove beach for a few photos after the ceremony, the colors of the wedding party resembling the most treasured beach glass.

Though very short on time, we made the quick trip over to the breakwater, a landmark jetty that reaches to the outermost point of Cape Cod.

From there, we made our way back down to The Sea View in Dennisport to continue the evening celebrations with the happy couple! The Sea View is a beautiful family-owned property with a cozy and modern Cape Cod feel.

The dance floor was kinda rockin’ all night… such a fun group! And huge props to DJ Keith Lemire as well, who came with the most incredible Bose speakers that were thin and gorgeous from a photographer’s perspective!

Marisa and Rob, your wedding day was amazing, and I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon as well! Your love is filled with such a fun energy, and I wish you the very best in your life together!
