Dan and Andrea were married this fall at Camp Burgess, in Sandwich MA. I’ve shared a few peeks, and they’re starring in my header above, but I can’t believe I never blogged the whole celebration!
This was definitely a wedding for the books, taking place in a unique outdoorsy setting at one of the Cape’s wonderful summer camps. Dan and Andrea have so much love between them, and it just oozed into the entire weekend with friends and family. Everyone stayed on-site at the camp, dancing to Entrain the night before, sipping Cape Cod Beer, and even starting the wedding morning off with yoga!
Back at the house, the girls spent the rest of the morning primping and laughing together.
You better believe I stole more than one or two glances at this Camp Burgess map on the fridge… I remembered our walk-through (and the GIGANTIC PIG that was running around then), but this day was going to cover a lot of ground and I wanted to be prepared!
Just to make sure everyone was nice and teary to get things started, Dan surprised Andrea with a song while she stood back at the top of the natural amphitheater. They couldn’t see each other yet.
Dan, you have an amazing voice.
I loved all the vibrant colors of the day, so fitting for the energy around us. After a few chuckles with the larger group, we walked the grounds for some intimate portraits of the happy couple.
Camp Burgess has a gorgeous new hall where the partying continued into the night. I don’t think Dan and Andrea ever left the dance floor!
I love you guys! Thanks so much for trusting me with your story and your incredible day, and I’ll always remember fondly that you’re the ones who got me into this beautiful mess ;-)
