Katie and Rob are planning their Vermont wedding this August, and I couldn’t be more excited to photograph a wedding at the West Mountain Inn where we got married! But to top it all off, these lovebirds wanted to do a snowy engagement shoot in Stowe this winter! I absolutely love photos in the snow, and these guys did a great job of bringing some pop of color and snuggling in for a few extra warm hugs!
These photos were taken up at the hand-built chapel on the site of the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe. Such a beautiful hidden gem.
We walked around the historic downtown of Stowe, the perfect amount of snow falling delicately around us. Thanks to Laphroig for joining for our walk and some photos too!
And after a little hot toddy and change of clothes, we ventured out for a few final photos among the sparkly holiday lights in town! These guys were so willing and happy to hang for the afternoon, and I love the variety of photos we were able to capture.
Thanks so much to Vermont Vows magazine for featuring this beautiful session on their blog! And to Katie and Rob for such a very fun afternoon! What a great way to get to know you guys, and so beautiful to have the snowy opportunity to photograph in Stowe!
All daytime photos captured on Contax 645 and Canon 1V cameras using Fuji 400H and Kodak Portra 800 film. Processed by Richard Photo Lab.
gorgeous shoot! love the color.
I love looking back at these winter shots (especially now that the snow is gone)! They are amazing and I can’t wait to see you at our wedding!
