It was a gorgeous and long-lasting February. I’m loving all this snow we’ve had!
My first full “off-season” since leaving corporate life and other projects, I’ve been able to truly savor this winter. I wake up with Gary before 7am, and typically start the day walking our dogs on the beach or trails. Working from home is kinda unbearable if I haven’t exhausted them! I’ve been fortunate to squeeze in more time for the gym and yoga this time of year too, which has a direct correlation to how in shape I am for heavy camera bags come May!
A few of my favorite things this February!
Yes indeed, that’s a big box of film… wedding season kicked off with a winter wedding in Vermont, and a destination wedding next week in Mexico! Time to stock back up!
As it goes, most photos are from Vermont this time of year. We’re “seasons” people and love being back in the mountains when the snow falls! Alicia Swedenborg joined me for a Woodstock Inn wedding – Vermont being quite a bit different from our last travels to South Africa together! A couple weeks later, we skied with friends and snowshoed with dogs around Waitsfield and Sugarbush, VT!
I chopped my hair! Not that you guys would notice maybe, but gone are about five inches of gnarly hat-and-scarf tangle (sorry, maybe you didn’t need to know that part). One more from Vermont, cause heck, it’s a covered bridge. And a photo of my amazing friend Amy, a top eco-fashion writer, on our trip into Boston for an eco-event!
Bottom row includes me, freshening up on my Italian via the *free* and amazing language app, Duolingo (for your phone or web, any language)! Must study with wine. I leave April 1st for a month in Florence! A hard winter beach, and a discovery – McGillicuddy’s new vanilla flavor tastes like a creamy thick dream!
Thanks to a great February, and cheers to springing ahead!
