This one’s a record-breaker. Kristina and Andrew chose THE most perfect October weekend to get married in the Catskills of New York, and they broke records for the insanely perfect blasts of foliage on any wedding day I’ve been lucky enough to capture! Today is their one-year anniversary! I love thinking about where we were, and how extremely welcoming their friends and family were to us as Alicia Swedenborg and I rolled into the adorable town of Andes, and specifically Tunis Lake!

Alicia and I have photographed in some incredible places together! She’s from Stockholm and lives in New York City. I’m technically her agent, but she’s also now one of my closest friends! She brought me to Candice & Justin’s wedding in South Africa, and I brought her on a crazy snowstorm adventure to Sandy & Craig’s Woodstock, Vermont wedding. We also enjoyed a little retreat with a few other film-loving pals in Sonoma and San Francisco. Anyway, peak foliage season in the Catskills was right up there with the BEST of our adventures! We stopped along the way to photograph cows and pick apples… it’s what you do.

Tunis Lake, a hidden gem where Andrew’s family has visited for years. It was the perfect backdrop as the rain cleared and the sun came through in all its glory!

Annie and Matt are two of the sweetest lovebirds I’ve had the pleasure of working with – from photographing their engagement photos in the foliage of Worlds End in Hingham, to standing in the sunshine on their wedding day in Chatham last September. I’ve gotten to know their friends and family, scratched their dog’s ears, and loved every minute of it. It’s such an intense joy to walk into a wedding day with those connections in place, and even sweeter walking away from a wedding day with those connections and friendships forever in tact.

Come join me in celebrating Annie & Matt on their one-year anniversary! It was a spectacular day in Chatham!

Mel Schneidman - It was a beautiful day and part of that was because of your presence and your beautiful photography! Thanks for the gorgeous pics!!!

Just popping in with a little peek of Lauren & Mike’s wedding day last weekend! These two own Reebok CrossFit Bare Cove in Hingham, MA, and it was such a blast to swing by the “box” for a few photos!

I met Molly & Justin over Rum Swizzles – at the Swizzle Inn no less – as we kicked off Gia & Ilia’s Bermuda wedding weekend in July 2013. Gary and I arrived in Bermuda as “vendors” and left with a dozen new incredible friendships! Among them were these two, mere heartbeats away from being engaged themselves! I was so honored to join them on their wedding day on Cape Cod one year later!

Molly’s family home in Cotuit (on my running route from home actually!) served as a gorgeous and meaningful place for the girls to get ready the morning of the wedding. It was also where we celebrated the rehearsal dinner the night before, and where Justin would come to see his bride for the first time!

A lovely trolley ride to the ceremony at Christ Chapel, and another trolley ride later, friends and family all gathered at the Oyster Harbors Club in Osterville for the evening celebrations.

oyster-harbors-osterville-wedding-34Molly and Justin, I definitely don’t have the words to express how grateful I am to have met you both, and to have shared in some of life’s most incredible moments with you. While my job is often to capture the joyous days, it means even more for me to be able to give you memories to hold on to when you need it too.

You’ve been giddy in love in front of my camera since 2013, and I have no doubt you’ll be giddy in love for decades more! I’m also soooo very excited to see your family grow this year! XO

    Gia - Love!!!!

I’ve been photographing all over Vermont this summer, and it just seems so perfectly suited for a wedding – as romantic as it gets! Rain or shine, mountain or lake (usually both)… The barns, fences, and long gaping fields just ooze LOVE to me! Maybe because I too fell in love in Vermont, and I got married among the same Green Mountains. Whatever it is, Amanda and Gregg’s incredible May celebration was right up there on top!

I captured their engagement photos near Amanda & Gregg’s snowy home town in Jackson, New Hampshire, but they chose Chittenden, Vermont’s Mountain Top Inn & Resort for their lovely spring nuptials. All of their friends and family enjoyed the little getaway to this fantastic property, and I loved capturing it all weekend, from welcome party to dance floor!

Amanda arrived by horse-drawn carriage and it was pure magic.

We ordered up a gorgeous sunset for Amanda and Gregg, just in time! But truthfully, I’m not sure we could have gone wrong with anything the Mountain Top Inn and Vermont’s Green Mountains chose to give us this day. The backdrop was amazing at every turn.vermont--mountain-top-wedding-9vermont wedding at mountain top inn

It was such a joy to photograph around the horse stables on the Mountain Top’s property, and the reception barn was new to me on this visit as well. The dark wood exterior was spectacular, and these guys certainly filled the space with gorgeous special touches that made the day truly their own. We even tucked into a corner for some photo booth fun!

I went into this weekend feeling like long friends of Amanda and Gregg, and I couldn’t have been more honored with the trust and thoughtfulness they shared with me. I also had such a blast working alongside one of my bestest pals, filmmaker Meg Simone!
