Osterville Together-Session

This Memorial Day weekend I got to spend an afternoon with event designer Desiree, of Desiree Spinner Events, and her husband Craig!

Desiree is one of my most favorite people in the wedding industry, and lucky for me (and our local coffee shop) her adorable Osterville office is just two miles from home. If you aren’t considering hiring a wedding coordinator, I wish I could show you the vendor packet and timeline I just received in the mail from Desiree and Sara for this coming weekend’s Nantucket wedding – what an incredible (and gorgeous) resource to have!

We kicked off our “together-session” by wandering the yard with some champagne and berries!

These guys are so sweet together, and I love the chance to capture this kind of moment in time, whether newly engaged or married for seven years. Would you ever guess that their son Luke was swinging from a hammock next to us while these guys just had eyes for each other?

Osterville is a beautiful little Cape Cod town, and we were able to drive just down the road to the historic boat museum for some more exploration. The light was getting warmer and our giggling a little more boisterous!

I swear I did not even have to direct these two. I just said, “let’s try you leaning against this door” and LOOK at these two hooligans!

We ended the afternoon on the family dock. A beautiful way to close this fantastic holiday weekend!

Desiree, Craig and Luke, thank you so much for sharing your family and your love with me, and for setting aside a few hours of your weekend to capture it together! I can’t wait to get our film rolls back as well. Desiree, you are doing such woooonderful things for the wedding industry, and I’m so happy to have you as a friend and colleague!
