I’ve been reading about the Liberty Hotel in Boston for over a year now, and have always wanted to visit. What draws me in most is how crazy dog-friendly the place is, but its history as a 1800s jailhouse is also very intriguing! Well, I didn’t get to bring my dog this time, but I was fortunate to photograph an cocktail party on the fourth-floor balcony last week. What a stunning backdrop for an event!
I’m holding people-photos to a minimum in this post, since it was a private gathering. What was interesting at this event, however, was that “no one special” was due to arrive… yet I looked up and saw New England Patriots player Matt Light casually walking through. Thank goodness I come from a sports-loving home and recognized the handsome man for a few extra photos!
If you’re ever near the Charles/Mass General Hospital stop on Boston’s red-line subway, definitely stop in at the Liberty Hotel. It sounds like each day of the week is dedicated to something fun, whether a dog-lovers night or a fashion showcase. I sure hope to return soon!
Wow, that is stunning! We just talking about it recently, my brother-in-law is going to be staying there for a conference in September. We definitely want to check it out. Great photos, as always! beth :)
WOW. These are awesome photos, Stacey! I definitely want to go visit sometime!
