Kelly + James Oyster Harbors Wedding

Saturday was an amazing night for a wedding in Oyster Harbors!

Kelly and James rocked it out for their friends and family, complete with sunshine, ocean breeze, scrumptious food, an amazing band, and quite a lot of laughter and tears. They traveled from California to exchange nuptials on the property Kelly adored as a child. She’s now a eco-conscious fashion designer, so be sure to check out Kelly B Designs (also available at our local boutique, Shift!).

Adding to the fun of the day was being able to shoot with good friend, artist and shop-owner Jen Villa, of the Little Beach Gallery!

Every coastal New England wedding has a flag, right?

Apparently Kelly’s family has a long history of crying, but I dare say James rivaled them all with his tears this day. I love the way they look at each other.

I’ve seen a lot of cupcake towers used as wedding cakes the last couple of years, but just a little warning – your guests will tend to dig right in before the official cake-cutting! No worries when you also have a lobster cake on hand!

Full [incredible] catering was provided by Casual Gourmet. I loved that they had a taco bar to one side, plenty of seafood, and fresh meats and risotto across at another station. The tent was pitched by the folks at Undercover Tent.

The band, Beantown, kept the party going all night with an awesome mix of current tunes – the dance floor was packed, and the band members got right out there too!

Congratulations Kelly and James! It was such an honor to photograph your day, and the huge smiles between you both.
