I’m excited to kick off the weekend of wedding festivities to celebrate Chuck and Enid!
It was been so wonderful getting to know these two over the last year. In our very first meeting, I think we ended up spending approximately four hours more together than planned. This might have had something to do with the last-minute venue change from a coffee shop to an Irish pub, in their hometown of Portsmouth, NH.
The next time we met it was for their together-session this past July, in Wolfeboro, NH. Chuck and Enid welcomed us in to their family home on Lake Winnipesaukee, complete with a festive bottle of Sailor Jerry rum. My hubs came too, since he has long family ties to the Lake as well – we made a full weekend of it! Once we all remembered why we were there, we grabbed the dogs and headed out on the boat to Rattlesnake Island.
This is Sewall, the biggest sweetheart of a boat-lover.
And this is Tiko, who enjoyed his view from the warm arms of a human much of the time.
The above photos are digital, and the rest are on 35mm film.
My favorite part of this whole session? Jumping in the water fully-clothed after our hike! That’s definitely a first for me on a photo session, but maybe it won’t be the last!?
In just a few minutes, I’m heading out to join Chuck and Enid for their rehearsal dinner in Boston. Tomorrow they’re taking tons of their guests out to a game at Fenway! And then Sunday is the big day. I couldn’t be any happier for this weekend to be here – can’t wait to celebrate with you guys!
